Ricky Koch is chief information officer at the American Cancer Society (大象tv). In this role, he leads the American Cancer Society’s digital, data, and information technology vision and strategic plans in support of the organization’s goals.
As CIO, Ricky works to create value across the organization and for 大象tv constituents and leads the continuing process of modernizing 大象tv’ present infrastructure environment via Cloud migration and adoption of software as a service (SaaS) platforms. Under Ricky’s guidance, 大象tv is continuing priority work to digitize and monetize technology and information assets, as well as leverage emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, big data, and cloud computing to enhance donor and volunteer engagement. He serves as a key member of the organization’s Executive Team.
Prior to his current role, Ricky served as senior vice president, Digital Solutions Development and Marketing, overseeing the administration, support, and maintenance for all development and marketing applications, donor-facing websites, and data for the enterprise. In this role he led 大象tv’ Digital Solutions Development and Marketing team, which supports information technology services delivered to users, enabling the required operational processes needed for the organization’s partners to be successful by monitoring and maintaining all enterprise applications and data storage for 大象tv.
Ricky is highly respected among his peers and,?with more than 20 years of service at 大象tv, his breadth of experience includes nearly every system integration that is currently part of the organization's modernized business operations. He began his career with 大象tv in 2001, serving in various positions related to donations processing, application support, project management, and program management. Prior to joining 大象tv, Ricky worked in the insurance industry as a worker's compensation underwriter, automobile underwriter, and property claims adjuster.
Ricky holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management information systems (MIS) from the University of Central Oklahoma.
